First, you'll start with your challah recipe! If you've always been intimidated by the beautiful braids of challah, your instructor will demystify the process. From learning how to use yeast to ensure your dough rises perfectly, to shaping loaves with braided designs, you'll have support every step of the way.
This beginner baking class is welcome to all ages and skill levels making it a great way to spend time with family around Rosh Hashana. You’ll create a stunning round loaf, filled with apples and cinnamon or your dried fruit or spread of choice. While your dough is rising, prepare a Honey Apple Cake to enjoy for breakfast or dessert.
We will also discuss tips for how to enjoy and preserve this bread.
