In this cooking class in NYC, you will learn how to make the well-loved Japanese dish: sushi! If you're looking to elevate your sushi night, join this Japanese cooking class.
Your class is guided by an experienced chef who will teach you all about sushi. First, you will learn how to make sushi rice, the backbone of the sushi roll. Your chef will also teach you how to make sushi soy sauce and how to prepare fish and vegetables for sushi. Finally, you will start making your favorite rolls. You will make the sushi classics including, spicy tuna, salmon avocado, California, and more!
At the end of class, you get to sit down for one of the best sushi dinners in NYC, partly because it was crafted by you! You'll be able to take these skills, knowledge, and tips home to have excellent sushi parties at home!   • The chef is happy to come to your location with a transportation fee of $150 and $250 for assistant if party is over 10ppl. Please let us know where you are located, we are happy to quote you. Or you are welcome to come to the chef's kitchen on the Upper East Side in Manhattan or North Fork, Long Island.
  • This teacher can host a maximum of 16 people at their venue but can accommodate larger groups if you provide a venue with enough space to host your party. Please inquire if you are interested in this option.
