In this online workshop, we will be cultivating a fun and imaginative atmosphere, making delicious food and drinks to share in this virtual team-building ‘happy hour’, perfect if you're looking for unique virtual team building activities.
Through an approachable back-to-the-basics style of cooking and hospitality, we empower people to connect and develop as a team, despite being physically apart. Our chef instructors have structured a fun, engaging and interactive program using food and beverages as a vehicle for inspiring deeper connections.
In our virtual team building, your team members can cook, connect and celebrate together and this virtual cooking event can be hosted by our chef in Melbourne to the comfort of the participants' kitchen anywhere via Zoom.
During the live stream, the chef will be introduced to the group and he/she will do the cooking demonstration and everyone will work and have fun together to create the menu items. Everyone will cook and share their creation.

  • Satay Ayam - grilled turmeric chicken skewers with peanut sauce
Japanese cuisine: 
  • Kinoko Miso Shiru - mushroom miso soup 
  • Shake Teriyaki - salmon teriyaki and Rice or
  • Okonomiyaki - Japanese pancake

Chef Hà Nguyen began his career in Hanoi local restaurants and the Hilton Opera Hotel before travel, study and work in Wellington, New Zealand –New Zealand Diploma in Cookery and Bachelor in Hospitality Management at Wellington Institute of Technology. Chef Hà has started with Intercontinental Hotel Wellington, working with Twelve Apostles Lodge Walk developing menu for Alkina Lodge along Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, delivering nourishing and fresh menus to clients.
He believes that cooking, eating and sharing should be an experience, not just a meal. He created OTAO Kitchen as an extension of his passion for food and to share this passion with others. Food plays an important role in his Vietnamese culture heritage and is central to his family life. Sharing a meal with family and loved ones is a traditional and happy experience. He wishes to extend this experience to you and welcome you to OTAO Kitchen.
