Dive into tufting and craft your own rug or wall art in this Brooklyn tufting class! If you're ready for a creative adventure, a rug tufting class is a great way to learn a new hobby or enjoy a fun activity in NYC. No experience is needed and beginners are welcome! You’ll use a top-quality tufting gun, a 20"x20" frame, and endless vibrant yarns to create your masterpiece. Your instructor will take you through each step of the process, so you can leave with a finished piece ready to take home! Turn an ordinary day into a festival of creativity and fun. Your tufting workshop starts with a warm introduction. Enjoy free snacks, tea, and Turkish coffee. Don't forget to stretch, hydrate, and eat! You'll learn skills such as how to use a tufting gun, how to feed the yarn, and tufting safety rules! Choose your pattern from our most popular 130 Wooden Cutoffs and work with a collection of over 40 different colors of yarn. You can also bring your own design to create a custom rug! Your instructor will help you make adjustments to your design at the start of class to make it tufting-friendly! Then enjoy two full hours to tuft your heart out! You'll receive personalized guidance throughout the class. Once you are finished, your instructor will assist in the finishing touches including adding a backing and shaping the rug. Schedule:
