Franck discovered Scotch whisky when he was 21 years old and fell in love with this spirit. He has since built a collection of almost 500 bottles (all opened, since he strongly believes that spirits are made to be enjoyed, not watched), gained many credentials as a spirit educator and consultant, and founded his company Whisky Gourmet in 2017.

His company’s motto is encapsulated in three words: “we create happiness!”

He lived on four continents, has visited more than 200 distilleries, and knows many of the key actors and producers.

Franck is a certified WSET instructor (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) in spirit, a whisky ambassador tutor (Scotland), an Armagnac educator, and he holds a distiller degree from IBD (London, UK).

He teaches at all levels, from beginners to professionals, using his highly successful pedagogical approach while exhibiting his passion. He has trained or entertained over 8, 000 people in his sessions to date.
