The class begins with a 15-minute chai session, where you’ll savor the rich flavors of freshly prepared chai while learning about its cultural significance in India. After your refreshing break, jump into a 45-minute Bollywood dance session led by a professional instructor. Bollywood dance is known for its high energy, expressive gestures, and joy, making it accessible and fun for all levels. By the end of the session, you’ll have learned some exciting basic moves and rhythms that will get everyone moving to the beat!
The event wraps up with a fun photo session to capture your dance moves and the lively Bollywood spirit. Sip, dance, and embrace the rhythm in this one-of-a-kind experience in NYC!

If you would like to provide your own venue, we are happy to come to you! We kindly ask for the following:
  • A table dedicated to refreshments for the catered chai station.
  • A separate open space for dancing, allowing 6–8 feet of clear space per person.
  • No chairs or tables in the dancing area to ensure participants can move freely.
For events with more than 15 guests, access to a microphone is ideal for clear communication, helping everyone hear the instructor’s guidance. We’ll bring everything else needed for a fun and memorable experience!

Meet Aimee, a Filipina-American entrepreneur, and her multicultural team at Kits by Food Craft.
The company was launched on February 2020 to host social corporate team events. Due to the pandemic, Aimee pivoted the business to DIY kits and eventually hosted virtual events to support remote teams across the world.
As a small and newly launched business, the pandemic was a turning point. But the team adapted, persevered, and as of January 2023, they fulfilled over 20, 000+ kits and hosted 900+ virtual events. This is our pandemic story, and we are grateful for the overwhelming support.
The events and what makes it unique: Inspired by the rich diversity of New York City and her multicultural team, Aimee curated workshops centered on promoting cultural appreciation through food, drink, and craft workshops.
