Hand-building and Painting Cheese Board Workshop

Learn a new craft and create a personalized cheeseboard in this ceramics class in Brooklyn. This is a fun and creative workshop ideal for both beginners and experienced crafters looking to add a personal touch to their kitchen or home decor. In the first hour, we'll guide you through shaping and forming your cheeseboards. This hands-on session will teach you essential clay-working techniques to ensure your cheeseboard is both functional and unique. These basic hand building techniques can be used in future creations if you decide to continue the hobby! In the second hour, it's time to bring your creation to life with color and design! You'll have black as the primary color and your choice of red, yellow, green, or blue for additional decoration. We also provide a variety of underglaze transfers that you can use to decorate your board. Feel free to get creative and even color the transfers yourself to add a personalized touch.You'll finish with a functional and beautiful ceramic cheeseboard for all your future dinner parties and picnics.
