Experience the art of henna in our hands-on workshop in NYC! Learn to create beautiful designs on paper, with an option to try henna on your hand. Our henna artist will wrap up with personalized designs for each guest, making it a perfect activity for team bonding or creative celebrations!
Our on-site henna workshop introduces you to the intricate art of henna design, guided by a skilled henna artist. Guests will first learn basic henna techniques and practice on paper to master patterns and shapes. For those interested, there’s an option to apply designs on their own hands under guidance.
As a special finale, our henna artist will offer each guest a simple, small henna design on their hand, ensuring everyone leaves with a unique, beautiful keepsake. Fun trivia on henna traditions and history will keep the atmosphere lively, adding to the cultural experience. We’ll conclude with a photo session, capturing each the final designs and happy memories.
Your materials are individually packed into kits for easy setup, and multiple kits will be shipped to the on-site location a few days prior to the event. Our event facilitators will travel to your designated location and will arrive 30 to 60 minutes before the event to set up. We kindly ask for a comfortable arrangement with tables and chairs provided, ensuring ample elbow room at each seat.
Table covers are not needed, as we will supply individual placemats. For events with more than 15 guests, access to a mic, a TV with an overhead camera is ideal to ensure all participants have a clear view of the instructor’s demonstrations.

Meet Aimee, a Filipina-American entrepreneur, and her multicultural team at Kits by Food Craft.
The company was launched on February 2020 to host social corporate team events. Due to the pandemic, Aimee pivoted the business to DIY kits and eventually hosted virtual events to support remote teams across the world.
As a small and newly launched business, the pandemic was a turning point. But the team adapted, persevered, and as of January 2023, they fulfilled over 20, 000+ kits and hosted 900+ virtual events. This is our pandemic story, and we are grateful for the overwhelming support.
The events and what makes it unique: Inspired by the rich diversity of New York City and her multicultural team, Aimee curated workshops centered on promoting cultural appreciation through food, drink, and craft workshops.
